Sheila Jones

Sheila Jones attended the University of South Florida pursuing a degree in Elementary Education.  She also attended Florida Technical College of Medical and Dental Careers and the Community College of the Air Force.

Sheila is a former US Air Force Veteran, serving most of her 4 years as an Administrative Specialist and Protocol Assistant to the 19th Air Refueling Wing Commander, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.  She started her civil service career in February 2003 and served as a DoD Air Force Civilian for 19 years.  Her most recent employment was Executive Support Specialist to the Director, Logistics and Engineering, Air Force Global Strike Command.  She received several Civilian Service Commendation Awards, Civilian of the Quarter and Year along with the Civilian Meritorious Service Award.  Sheila has been employed by SBCC since October 17, 2022.

She is a Pennsylvania native and loves Penn State football.  She is also an Alabama Crimson Tide fan gained through marriage by her husband Sidney.  In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, decorating and family time.  Sheila currently resides in Haughton, Louisiana.
