Josh Hoffman

Josh Hoffman is the Senior Capability Portfolio Manager of the Small Business Consulting Corporation.  He leads 12 full / part-time Capability Portfolio Managers along with guiding an Integrated Product Team (IPT) of 12+ team members to accomplish Air Force Global Strike Command, Air Education and Training Command, and SBCC objectives. He also oversees a portfolio of program activities ranging from customer requirement curation, requirements tracking and management, commercial market research of small business and non-traditional industry partners, technology modification and rapid fielding, strategic planning, and Program of Record (PoR) transition management.

Josh served over 20 years on active duty with the United States Air Force as a KC-135R Flying Crew Chief, B-52H Section Chief, Inspector General Superintendent, Group Senior Enlisted Leader, and the founder of the Barksdale Innovation Group.  His operational experience with the KC-135R and B-52H includes 12 deployments in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM, Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa, and several more contingency and exercise operations spanning the globe.  

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Southwestern College and his master’s degree from Saint Joseph’s University.  He is a father of two young ladies.  In his free time, he enjoys exploring in nature, running, and coaching his daughter’s soccer team.
