Kavooss Shamloo
Mr. Kavooss Shamloo is a US Air Force Veteran, who retired from active duty in 2007 with 22+ years of service and continued to serve
another 13 years in Air Force Civil Service. In past 20 years he has held many leadership and staff positions at three MAJCOMs and
one COCOM to Include Senior Information Systems Programmer Analyst at HQ Air Education and Training Command, Deputy Chief,
Readiness and Integration Division at Air Force ISR Agency, and Chief, Personnel Systems and Readiness Division at HQ US Cyber
Command (USCYBERCOM). In 2013 he was hand-selected by USCYBERCOM/J3 Director as a key member of Cyber Forces
Integration Strategic Team responsible for coordinating and managing the Cyber Mission Forces programs with all four military
services’ cyber elements and National Security Agency in effort to build 133+ cyber mission teams which consisted of 6,000+ cyber
warriors located worldwide to protect the DoD's network infrastructure in cyber warfare. In 2015, he was offered the position of Chief,
Nuclear Deterrence Operations Force Development and Leadership Education at HQ Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC),
Barksdale AFB, LA. He was responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the functions and supervising a team of highly skilled
professionals in developing innovative nuclear operations and leadership development curriculum and programs for Nuclear Enterprise
community and AFGSC’s 33,000 officers, enlisted and civilian personnel. Mr. Shamloo retired from the Department of the Air Force on
December 31, 2020, after 13 years of faithful civil service
On August 1, 2022, Mr. Shamloo accepted a position with Small Business Consulting
Corporation as the Director of Data Engineering and Analytics to lead a team of software
engineers, analysts, and data scientists to spearhead the synchronization of AFGSC data
modernization and analytics initiatives.
