Chad Gallagher

Chad Gallagher is the Vice President of Commercial Engagement & Integration. In this role, he assists the Air Force in finding and connecting with innovative companies to help transition their best technologies for the nation’s most critical defense missions.

Chad is a 30-year Air Force veteran who in his last active-duty role served as the Director of Security Forces for Air Force Global Strike Command. In this capacity, he was responsible for developing and executing physical security policy, plans and programs for eight installations and 5,800 Security Forces personnel. Chad enlisted in the Air Force in 1990 as a Contract Specialist and received a Scholarship for Outstanding Airmen to ROTC (SOAR) leading to his commissioning in 1998. As a Security Forces officer, he has commanded 6 times and has served at the squadron, group, major command and combatant command levels. He has deployed numerous times in support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, FREEDOM SENTINEL, and RESOLUTE SUPPORT.

Chad earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Iowa. He has also earned a Master of Science degree in Security Management and Terrorism Studies from American Military University as well as a Master of Science degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College.
